my friend just told me that there's a secret second dashboard that solely contains posts from people you've turned on post notifications for, and when i click the link in the messages it opens it within the tumblr app, so the tumblr app also has a secret second dashboard for post notification blogs, and the only way to access it is to open the link for it within the app.

i literally love tumblr

So you're telling me, not only do we still have chronological order tl, but we also have a super secret dash that fucking works and the staff didn't make a big deal about it?

Yep, sounds like tumblr.

I’ve been skimming John Francis Daley’s (director on D&D: Honor Among Thieves) twitter and I continue to be so completely blown away by the movie’s commitment to practical effects and/or minimized CGI where feasible. I mean holy shit look at all this

Practical effects mean that the creators were largely unionized.

I could genuinely tell that the actors were having fun and this explains why. In the entirely green screened Disney marvel movies everyone looks and sounds bored and sad.

[ID: A tweet from John Cogs (@.JohnCogs5): “I will stop it.” It is in reply to Physics-astronomy.org: “Andromeda, The Galaxy That Will Collide With The Milky Way, Is Already Visible To The Naked Eye In The Sky!” Attached is an image of a galaxy visible in the dusk sky.

John continues in the next image, “I can do so much more.” There is a comment from swim (@.swimfan72): “We will need every last drop of cogs fluid for this”. John replies, “I am more than my fluid”. End ID.]

I’m sorry friends, but “just google it” is no longer viable advice. What are we even telling people to do anymore, go try to google useful info and the first three pages are just ads for products that might be the exact opposite of what the person is trying to find but The Algorithm thinks the words are related enough? And if it’s not ads it’s just sponsored websites filled with listicles, just pages and pages of “TOP FIFTEEN [thing you googled] IMAGINED AS DISNEY PRINCESSES” like… what are we even doing anymore, google? I can no longer use you as shorthand for people doing real and actual helpful research on their own.
